About · FAANG engineers behind the desk

FAANG engineers building the AI automation that actually ships.

funDesk is a small studio of FAANG-experienced engineers helping growing businesses cut manual work with custom software and AI automation. We build the dashboards, agents, and pipelines that off-the-shelf tools won't.

◆ What we do

Build the workflow
they wished they had.

Most growing businesses live in spreadsheets, QuickBooks, and copy-paste. We replace the painful parts with custom dashboards, AI agents, and automated pipelines — built around how the team already works.

We're not selling licenses. Every engagement ends with code you own and runs you don't have to babysit.

◆ Who we are

FAANG engineers,
still writing the code.

We've worked on distributed systems, ML pipelines, and developer tools at FAANG companies. Now we bring that experience to mid-sized businesses that don't have an in-house engineering team.

Engineers, hands-on the whole way through. No account managers, no offshoring, no hand-offs.

Invoice intelligence dashboard

Replacing aged-receivables spreadsheets with a single dashboard that flags risk before the invoice goes overdue.

The problem

Owners were reading aged-receivables out of QuickBooks and three Excel sheets. Nobody could see which customers were quietly drifting, returning more product than usual, or about to churn — until the cash flow already hurt.

What we built

A web dashboard that pulls QuickBooks and their CRM nightly, layered with an AI risk model that watches return rate, payment cadence, and order volume per customer.

  • Customer-level return % with 12-week trend lines
  • Predicted late-payer flags before the due date
  • Friday email brief: "the three things to act on this week"
  • One-click export of risk accounts for the sales team

AI lead triage & follow-up

Turning a chaotic mix of phone, web, and Google leads into a routed, classified, auto-responded queue.

The problem

Inbound leads — phone calls, web forms, Google Local — were going stale because nobody had a clean handoff or follow-up cadence between branches. Hot leads sat unread for hours; some never got a reply at all.

What we built

An AI intake agent that classifies every inbound lead, routes by service area, drafts a personalized first reply, and writes the record straight into their CRM with a follow-up timer.

  • Auto-classification by job type (install, repair, maintenance)
  • Geographic routing to the closest branch with capacity
  • Personalized first-reply drafts the dispatcher sends in one click
  • Stale-lead alerts when a quote sits longer than 24 hours

How we work · the rules

Four things
we always do.

Every engagement runs the same way. They're the reason teams come back for the second project.

01

Fixed scope, fixed price

Two-page proposal up front. No surprise invoices, no scope creep, no "discovery phase" that bills for itself.

02

Code you own

Everything ships into your GitHub, your cloud, your accounts. We don't lock you in.

03

Honest trade-offs

We'll tell you when AI is the wrong tool, when a Google Sheet beats a custom build, and when to wait six months.

04

Hands-on, end to end

The same engineers from kickoff to launch. No account managers, no offshore handoffs, no "we'll loop in our team."
